"Lovely Christmas break"

It was cosy and great location. Pool and darts were good

A bit cluttered but quirky. The kettle only worked if you held it down for a bit. Kitchen area was small for a family for preparing meals. Couldn’t work out the oven properly

We loved our stay at James place! A lot of love and attention has gone into the decor of this home and it is immaculate from top to bottom. The owner James kindly left us homemade honey, Welsh cakes, marshmallows, eggs and chilled prosecco; all of which were delicious. This property is in the ideal location just outside the centre of Merthyr and perfect for a trip to Bike park wales.

Nothing- we would definitely stay again!

So lucky to have found this little gem in Merthyr Tydfil. Stayed for 4 days. Proper home from home. Lots of welcoming little touches. House was so comfortable, had everything one could need & hope for.

Plenty to keep us occupied with good games, books and nostalgia items. Nice and clean and very comfortable. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Decent location for adventuring out, while still close to local amenities.

"Quirky house in a sleepy town"

We loved the quirky interior, very well facilitated with the games - including pool table and darts. We loved the fire pit which we made the use of! Initially there were no fire lighters or kindling (or honey!) left for us, but I sent the owner a quick message and these were left for us when we got back!

The shower did leak a few times and there was a big crack in the centre which we tried to avoid! Also the outdoor lights didn’t work, which wasn’t a massive issue!
