Cottage was nice - nothing to fault. Location was brilliant and very close to the sea.

Lack of outdoor space.

Great location.Centre of town.Had all the amenities you need inside.

Parking can be difficult. Building work next door was a bit noisy.

We had a 4 night booking. On the first night we discovered that there were no facilities to make fresh coffee despite a cafetière being prominent in promotional photos of the property. We are coffee drinkers . The bath/ shower had a slippery surface and had no grab rail or anti-slip mat, which made us insecure in the bath/shower. So the next morning we texted the managers of the property (Heritage Hosting) asking if we could have a cafetière like that shown in the property photos and a non-slip bath mat. We had a reply that a cafetière would be ‘delivered’ after we left the property and there would be a discussion with the owner about a non- slip mat. We found this a very unsatisfactory reply and replied stressing the safety issue of the non- slip mat. Heritage Hosting then sent a final message saying that they would address these ‘minor changes to enhance the future guest experience’. We found that to be a rude and dismissive response which indicated: 1. Heritage Homes seemed not to feel obliged to provide the facilities shown in their advertising materials for this property. 2. Heritage Homes do not seem aware of health and safety liabilities in particular the potential for a slip accident - even when guests like ourselves draw their attention to it and request an easily available and cheap safety item to deal with the risk. 3. Heritage Homes were not interested in the quality of our experience in the property, they described our requests as ‘minor’. We were unable to make ourselves fresh coffee for the 4 days we were in the property - despite HH materials advertising this facility. As coffee drinkers this was not minor to us. Nor was it a minor issue to us that we slipped in the bath. HH treated our requests like possible options for them to consider for future guests. Very poor customer service
