The Hideaway

Everything was to a very high standard. It was very clean and comfortable. Everything had been provided for the comfort of the guests down to the finest detail.

I can’t think of one single negative about this place.

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed at. Our hosts were so welcoming and they provided us with some excellent local produce for our breakast. It was very peaceful and the cottage itself is very tastefully furnished.

There are not enough superlatives to describe how great this little treasure is: immaculately clean with super helpful and friendly owners and every little detail carefully catering to your perfect stay, it really is a gem.

Absolutely not negatives

The property and location is beautiful. Inside is clean, bright and high quality throughout. Outside has a mix for relaxation as well as adventure. The whole location is stunning, incredible views and atmosphere with the interest of the horses to smile at in the morning. I felt safe, secure, welcome and well looked after. Although I was alone, I didnt feel that with help and attention on hand should I need that. My two friends were made welcome when they came over for an evening round the fire pit. The place is not called The Hideaway for nothing, it is quiet and secluded, and yet it's not far from the nearby popular towns or walks in this part of Somerset.

I really can't think of anything that would have made my stay better. I liked everything!

The little extras that came with the stay. Breakfast hamper , the birthday wishes . The views - fire and firepit. It's set in a beautiful location and the host goes above and beyond to make the stay feel that little bit more special . I will be booking again 🙂

An exceptional welcome pack was waiting for us on arrival, which included eggs, bacon, bread and so much more, it was wonderful.

Everything you need and hamper from the host just makes it ideal. Clean , comfortable, and hosts attentive to your needs but never intrusive.

Having to leave after 2 nights. Would love to have stayed longer. 😁
