Spectacular ocean views. Could stare out the windows all day. Bed was comfortable. Loved falling asleep while hearing the waves crashing under the room. Room service was decent but not amazing (fresh fruit and decent mee / nasi goreng).

The jacuzzi did not look enticing. The walk from the main road is long and has some big steps. Bit treacherous at night, but totally worth it to stay so close to the ocean!

Location, location, location - this gem of a villa is in a breathtaking setting right on the ocean. The views really can't be beat! We loved this private perch to end our honeymoon. Watching surfers from our room was a delight. While getting from the villa up to the road is no easy feat, especially in the heat of the day (large / tall stairs), it was well worth it for the beauty it afforded and the great location to surrounding areas. Staff was very communicative and helpful. They helped with our heavy bags both ways, which was so appreciated. They also allowed us to store our bags at their (tiny) reception area on the last day of our trip when we had an evening flight out. Although any oceanside buildings will have inherent rustic charm due to proximity to nature's forces, we truly LOVED our three-night stay here. I am a BIG water drinker, and even more so while traveling - and was incredibly happy to have a water filter dispenser in the room. That was a game changer, and the first time we had "unlimited" drinking water on our stay. A fabulous inclusion. WiFi in the room was excellent. Breakfast at their restaurant, while not included, was very tasty! We loved walking to nearby Bingin Beach and back during low tide - just ensure that you get back before the tide comes back up too much or you'll have a lot of stairs to contend with :) As a sidenote, I highly recommend renting scooters, whether from the property or elsewhere (which is what we did) to get around greater Uluwatu. Although chaotic / stressful at times, I really can't imagine not having had one to get around. Uluwatu is not very pedestrian friendly, and sites such as Uluwatu Temple, restaurants, beaches, etc - are easiest accessed via motorbike, most being a short 5-15 ride away. Also - having a scooter allowed us to park close to the alley entrance.

We were told that there was a sign near the ally to the property, but did not see any kind of signage, which made for a bit of a confusing arrival. Some mold forming in the shower - unsure as to if it was there before our arrival or happened while we were there. Water pressure was not great - completely understandable given the setting / location. No creamer or milk provided for in-room coffee, and only one sugar packet in the room when we arrived. The couch was comfortable, but could use a deep cleaning.

The view was incredible.

Ants in the place. The jacuzzi was broken (as mentioned in multiple comments). The place isn't noise isolated, so you will hear everything including animals, the waves make it hard to sleep. The location is almost impossible to access without help for luggages from the staff.
