"Superb place to stay"

The accommodation was excellent and very comfortable. The food basket was a surprise and well enjoyed. Immaculate clean. Very close to the river walks, the castle including the rabbits in the evening, and the town centre. Lots of shops, places to eat and supermarkets. High Force was brilliant including the ice cream. Good walks close by. Close to Beamish, Durham and other places. All very good,

Nothing that we could find. Minor points were the outside garden which was tiny but suitable. Car parking a little tight but workable.
