Host & Stay - Honey Cottage

Although the property is quiet small it had everything you needed and more. Having the lovely courtyard at the back and bench at the front was great, we could catch the sun anywhere. Only a short walk to 2 pubs. The food in the Badger Hound was lovely, ate there both nights. Great walk to Runswick Bay along the cliff tops.

Nothing to do with the cottage it was great. What I didn't like was Host & Stay making me either pay £30 for 'breakage' insurance or having to pay a large deposit for damages which I would get back in 14 days minus £10 admin fee. I think this is a rip off and makes me question whether i will book another Host & Stay which is a shame as the ones i have booked have been lovely.

Perfect location if you happen to be attending a function in Hinderwell Village Hall which we were.

Easy walking distance of pubs and public transport links

The boiler came on in the afternoon but when it went off it got slightly cold. I was unable to start the boiler again due to there being no instructions. The log fire was a nice touch.

Cosy cottage, very comfortable. Just the right size for us and our two dogs
