Nothing at all, not to like.

Location, view's, cleanliness, facilities little Gem in the old town whitby would recommend and will be staying again

Not really suitable with people with mobility Problem

Lovely , clean , central and amazing views ! The property had Good facilities . Downsides were no parking ,you have to park away from the property , minimum is £10-80 a day to add onto your holiday cost, also an insurance wavier payment that originally was a you MAYBE asked for , that turned into ‘unless you pay it you won’t be granted access to the property ‘ that’s another un-refundable £30 ! Neither of these charges overly bothered us but to some people these hidden charges could make a difference

Lovely accommodation, fantastic location

Cleanliness could have been better, no storage space for food in the kitchen. Very disappointed that we had to pay insurance cover, have never had to with booking.com previously, will not be booking with Host and Stay again, we had paid for £500 worth of cover but we were still warned that if we forgot to report any damages before we left we would be charged again. Also too many unnecessary reminders to vacate the property by 10 am which all felt very patronising. Will stick just with booking.com in future.

Lovely view, great location

Slight smell of damp in downstairs bedroom. Although lovely location, very restricted car access could make it difficult for some.

The Location!

Superb location and the decorative design and little touches were delightful.

Not really a dislike as such, but the armchairs and the bath most definitely cater for smaller framed visitors. I don’t have a bath at home and was looking forward to a relaxing soak but my shoulders didn’t sit well and I am by no means a giant!

The view.

This is the 2nd property we have booked through booking .com this year where the property owners had external control of the heating, on both occations we have paid a premium to sit with a blanket on our knee with no control of the heating. We are a couple in our 60s and live in the real world. The next property we book through any site will be one where we have control of our environment.

Location and veiw

Only issue but didn’t bother us as stated on top floor bottom floor bedroom did smell damp but didn’t bother us as didn’t use that room
