"We had an excellent three days and nights in Melody's Cottage; lots to see and do closeby."

The cleanliness and quality of the decoration. The detailed information that we were sent on the morning as we left home. The garden outlook.

That there was no good restaurant in Belford. The fact that the downstairs shower was leaking. The fact that the written literature and the framed details of the WiFi password were incorrect but this was quickly sorted via an email exchange. I also didn't like the number of times I have been requested to send my feedback!!

"A well located cottage but not quiet due to the current building works next door"

Excellent location for exploring Holy Island and Bamburgh.

There was extensive building works being carried out in the cottage next door. Had we known the extent of the works we would not have booked this property. There was drilling into the party wall, roof works and an extension being constructed along the side of the property which overlooked the garden. These works started at an early hour which made our break less than relaxing.
