Host & Stay - The Hay Loft

Lovely clean house, tastefully decorated and had all the creature comforts we needed. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds we're large and comfy. The kitchen is well appointed and the pool table was a real hit with the kids (and grandad when he visited). We felt right at home.

Visibility when exiting the drive onto the road is limited.

There is nothing to dislike - it was absolutely perfect!

Accommodation was great, very clean, nice and airy and they provided a high chair. There was a fab climbing frame/swing set.

Be aware that in advance you’ll need to pay an additional £250 deposit minus £10 admin fee or £25 waiver. I wish this had just been included in the original price if it’s a requirement as feels like unnecessary admin in advance of the holiday. I also had to call up the company the day before checking in as they hadn’t sent the details for accessing the property which was annoying. Nostell Priory is really nearby but other than that there isn’t really anything in walking distance as the local pub has closed. It would have been nice for the property to have a few basics like cooking oil, salt, sugar, tea bags so that you didn’t have to go to a shop as soon as you arrive as these things are often provided at similar properties.

Go the extra mile to get wow reviews ! Condiments salt / pepper / cooking oil : Coffee /tea/ shower gel and shampoo to last the trip. Most air b and bs have this. Amazing venue if the little extra was there would be a perfect vacation home. Especially as there is not a shop In the village to get these supplies

Property is exactly as the photos. Adequate parking. Quiet. Well equipped. Spotless. 5 stars for sure.

Spacious barn conversion, wood burner was lovely, modern minimalistic interior.

No curtains in the lounge just a transparent voile, therefore lacked privacy in that area at night. The booking process is a nightmare! The fee quoted on here gets broken down into fee for owner, fee for management company, and then there's the additional £250 security deposit, which when booking I didn't realise (it's in the small print if you look for it). Just for the reason of reconciliation of my company accounts, unwanted hassle for a couple of nights away, then awaiting for a deposit refund.

Extremely modern, comfortable accommodation. It was also spotlessly clean. We met the owners who were friendly and very helpful.
