VOX Villas Canggu

We love the design of the villa - very chic & spacious for our family of four. The staff are very accomodating and gracious. Rooms were cleaned daily and everything else that you need in your vacation is about 50 - 100 metres away.

Maybe the management could provide a proper iron & ironing board for each villa.

Spacious. Could fit even a big family like ours. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful.

Hot shower doesn’t last long and gets cold within 10min of showering. The staff was very helpful in cleaning the villa and very accommodating to our request but only using sweepers will not contain the dust/sand you feel on the floor/stairs in the whole villa and could really use a vacuum cleaner and mop after. Toilet bowl needs a good cleaning to get rid off the mold. Also, it would be nice if they also provide mosquito repellents because there’s a lot of mosquitoes even though we kept the door and windows closed the whole time.

The villa was near lots of great food and spa options and just short walk away from the beach. Tege was also very helpful with our check-in and provided us with tips to get around Canggu.

The location was great. 15 mins walking distance to beach clubs. Few nice restaurants and a convenient store close by. There is a security room at the front and the housekeeper was friendly and easy to approach. There is also a vox villa discount card which you can use in some places nearby which was privileged.

In the 3b villa, the ensuite can use a lot more privacy. It is a non-airconditioned area and the shutter panels cannot be closed. The shower screen is complete transparent. The building opposite has a rooftop area that can see right through. We had to shower in dark to secure some privacy. Not a very pleasant experience. With the rainy season, our rooms were filled with heaps of flying ants (on our bed, pillows, sofas...) on the first nights even though windows were all shut. It got better afterwards but still... the gaps are large enough for these insects to come right through.

If this Villa review was based on aesthetics, I would say its a beautifully villa. But we had serious concerns for cleanliness and safty during our stay, on top of our villa not being ready at 3pm for check in.

Location was good, and the villa extremely beautiful. The service in VOX was amazing. <3 + The Mexican restaurant in the corner of the street was the best I've ever had!

The pool area seemed like it had been forgotten to clean.

The overall Japandi interior is so relaxing! The kitchen, dining area, living hall, pool, bedrooms are well designed, very spacious and comfortable. The 75 inch Samsung TV and Harman Kardon speaker are a huge plus point!!! I personally love all the toiletries given, smell heavenly good! Location is superb, mini mart just across the road, tons of eateries outside the villa, spa and massage, salon, clothing and all, you name it you have it all within walking distance. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful too.

I really can’t think of anything. Maybe except the lighting at the staircase to 3rd floor master room, it’s too dim.
