Calidas Hill

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. My friends and I came for a 2-day vacation, but for a significant part of our stay there was no water. We had no water throughout the entire evening and the following morning until 12 PM. We were unable to take showers, wash properly, or use basic facilities that guests expect when paying for accommodation. What was even more disappointing was the management’s response. We reported the issue, but no real effort was made to resolve the problem or offer any compensation for the inconvenience caused. As a result, our vacation was seriously affected and the overall experience was ruined. We cannot recommend this place to other travelers and would not choose to stay here again.

Extremely private nature runaway! Perfect for 2 couples or family. Only one house, no neighbours around. Great views on Kintamani from both bedrooms and deck. No mosquito just a lot of flies during morning time but this is nature. Will definitely stay there again.

Quiet and private little cabin on top of a hill. The nightly camp fire provide much warmth and sweet memories for us.

The access to the property can be challenging but Putu was kind to help to get us around.

The view from the place was amazing and the experience was really fun, with having our dinner cooked in front of us in the fireplace, and the food was good. The place is pretty well decorated, like a caban in the middle of the jungle. The staff was nice and helpful and drove us around and found a guide to climb mount batur.

I thought that canoe kayak would be included but it has to be booked before arrival so we could not do it. The staff is very nice but it was sometimes difficult to understand each other in English. The price is a bit high for the quality, however we had a good experience overall.

Great setting with wonderful view. Staff were very helpful and accommodating indeed. They cooked us a very nice dinner with fish and rice. We weren’t aware that dinner was included so that was a nice touch. Staff also booked a Batur Sunrise tour which was great. Staff gets 10 out of 10 and were the highlight of our stay.

The property is glamping style. Please be aware that the walls are open style beneath the roof so that amongst other things the amazing number of flys (which are natural for this setting) will come flying in. Lacking proper walls meant we felt the property was overpriced.

A lovely wooden cabin nestled on a hill of Kintamani. The view was breathtaking! We love the outdoor shower and are really happy that it has 2 bedrooms to accommodate our family. The projector, vinyl record player and artist easel with art supplies were a great touch! Putu took really great care of us during our stay. He assisted us with our questions and requests, and got our excursions settled. Thank you!

I guess the flies got to us at one point or another, but it's a country wide problem.
