Nothing to dislike

staying in the middle of rice fields is what i dream of in Bali. so when i found uma rimbun villa,i decided to stay here for two nights. the villa is new,the boss Yande is nice and helpful. he will contacted you before you coming. because the path to the villa is very narrow,and cars cannot enter. the better way is request transport from them,then Yande will handle everything. the view here is good,you can see the rice fields just right in front of you.the pool is nice, the room is new,the living room is great. there is no breakfast provided here, but you can go to the restaurant near to the villa. the way to the city center can be by walking or motorbike. the staff will assist you also. i wish i can stay here longer, worth the money and will be back for sure, highly recommended!

It was out of town and very peaceful. Immaculately clean. Owner Yande and Staff Dewa went above and beyond to assist us, especially with our lost luggage. Yande was always available on What’s App with any queries, eg: where can I buy such and such etc. Nothing was too much trouble.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The staff and owner were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our experience special. I requested a surprise for my boyfriend, and they arranged it perfectly. The villa was spotless and cozy, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. I couldn't have asked for a better stay highly recommend.

Fantastic location - you're so close to the hustle and bustle of Ubud, but due to the location of the villa (basically on the rice paddies) it's a gorgeous, quiet, tucked away gem. The staff are absolutely beautiful - very attentive and keen to ensure that everything is perfect. The view of the small infinity pool overlooking the rice paddies is something I never got sick of. Sweet Orange next door is an amazing warung with delicious and authentic Balinese food. I can't put into words how relaxing our stay was. Because it was our honeymoon, the staff also put together a beautiful little floral display on our bed and greeted us with fresh coconuts.

Nothing. We had no issues at all, but the villa is inaccessible by car directly - the staff will meet you in a close by car park to take you down to the villa on a scooter. If you're able to, the walk in to the heart of Ubud is approx 5 minutes - we loved it.

This is truly a 10/10 villa, best place we stayed on our trip. Amazing staff, location and value. Book here for the proper Ubud experience surrounded by peaceful rice fields.

Note it is a 7 minute walk from the main road, but through beautiful rice field, only understandable dark at night. However staff are happy to pick you up from the main road by motorbike if you give them the heads up.

We loved that it was close to the centre - you can walk down through a narrow path through the rice fields into a dodgy little alleyway and then onto the main road. There’s a longer path called Sweet Orange walking trail that also takes you to the centre. There were cute cafes and warungs close to the villa. The view is just beautiful especially at sunset. Loved sitting there with my morning tea and looking at locals going about their day to day. The villa itself is really clean, has almost all facilities you can imagine. We used the little kitchenette a couple of nights to make indomie and there’s also a tv with Netflix subscription for guests. The little pool was nice and refreshing with a splendid view of the rice fields. The staff are really attentive. They always kept out bottles of water for us. The bedding is very comfortable and they provide toiletries and clean towels.

The following are fairly minor and only for those who are pedantic about little details - The villas are not very private as you can see other tourists on the trail. This didn’t really bother us as the villa is a fair distance away. The villa is partially open plan ie the living/kitchen area cannot be locked and is open to the fields, but we felt very safe. But something to be mindful of, as you can’t leave any personal belongings here. You can’t access the villas by car. The staff had to bring the suitcases on motorbikes.
