Scallywags Joglo Villa

Villa is lovely, children enjoyed the use of the pool.

Breakfast was inconveniently served quite a distance away which was too far for our young child. The nearby mosque is very loud and prayers and played over speakers at all hours lasting for quite a while. The property is situated at the opposite end of the island from all main bars/beach area. The floors were also quite mucky and could do with a good scrub.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour à la villa. Une piscine grande avec transats. Le petits déjeuner inclus(choisir entre 7 options de menu) à prendre à l’hôtel scallywags face à la mer était bon. Nettoyage quotidien de la villa.

Le salon, cuisine et salle à manger sont dehors ce qui fait qu’on peut vite se faire piquer par des insectes donc n’oubliez pas d’avoir de l’anti moustique.

Bedrooms great pool really good We had 2 small children so the offer to deliver breakfast was very much appreciated as a long walk to the resort

1 shower in master bedroom very hard to operate as boiling hot or cold

The villa in the heart of Gili Air was a wonderful place for our family to base ourselves over the 4 days on the island. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was a both a surprise and bonus. Loved the pool, and the spacious outdoor dining and deck area.

Beware of Tomcat beetles in your bedding! I got badly stung one night :(

The joglo is just stunning: spacious with authentic elements and beautiful decorated. The comfort is very high and the pool is amazing. A true sanctuary in the middle of the buzzling center

Niets alles was perfect

Our absolute favorite stay of the entire trip! I honestly don't have enough words to describe how dreamy and perfect this villa is. Exceptionally spacious, with three beautiful bedrooms—each with its own bathroom—an open-air kitchen, and a large, cozy living area. The private pool is divine, and the water is warm and inviting at any time of day. Breakfast is served at the nearby beachfront resort, about a 13-minute walk or just a few minutes by bike. You can enjoy free access to their sun loungers and swim in the crystal-clear sea, then return to the peaceful haven of your private villa whenever you like. It’s the perfect combination of beach and privacy. The nearby mosque and the early morning prayer didn’t bother us at all—in fact, it was a beautiful reminder that we were guests in a vibrant Muslim community. We respected and embraced this part of the local culture. Truly an unforgettable place—we would come back in a heartbeat!
