The cleaning was so bad; the room was smelly

a magnificent place, the villa is spacious and very well equipped! it’s great comfort. we loved the layout of the place and the swimming pool, it’s a real corner of paradise! you feel at home there and it makes you want to stay there. the staff makes the stay more pleasant. We will gladly come back

This was a terrible experience. We left the premises 45 minutes after checking in. There was mould through both operating g air conditioner units. Excessive mould through both shower heads. Strong sewerage smell from one of the bedroom bathrooms. There were yellow stains on the fresh bed and lounge linen along with cigarette burn marks. The bench tops in the kitchen were still dirty from previous use, clearly not cleaned. The decking around our entrance to the pool area was rotted, nails missing which caused us to trip and fall. A live rat was located under the coffee table in the main living area. The property was not accurately advertised on Expedia when we booked. The property was not near the beach nor near any amenities or shops. We contacted the manager of the hotel directly outlining our concerns and a refund on our stay. So far, the hotel appears unwilling to accomodate a refund, which we think is only reasonable considering our circumstances. We have a 10 month old daughter with us and our experience with this property was not only disappointing, but extremely unhygienic and unsafe.

There was nothing we liked about the property, we come back after staying here five years ago and couldn’t believe the state our villa was in and asked if asked if they had another one as soon as we walked in !

It was run down, curtains missing, stained covering on sofa and chairs, tv didn’t work, mould on walls in bedroom, kitchen benchtop was heavily marked and stained and believed there was still a restaurant to buy breakfast and dinner, drinks but it was closed down!

The villa was not only clean but well equipped with all amenities, and a cozy atmosphere that made our stay even more special and unforgettable. The owner of the villa is fantastic!!! The place was perfect for what we wanted, quiet, private and very comfortable villa. The accommodation was magical. Thanks again for everything. 🙌🏻 We highly recommend this villa.

Everything was perfect.

The water pressure in the shower was great and plenty of hit water. The air-conditioning in the bedrooms was very good.

There were no bath towels in the double bedroom only 2 pool towels, 1 looked like it had been used to mop up paint spills and the other had a large hole in it. Both bedrooms were downstairs and had no locks on the outside! Very easy to get into the downstairs area even with the gates locked so not at all secure. The decking around the pool was rotting. Nail heads sticking out and boards would flip up when stood on. No furniture to sit by the pool not that it was safe to do so. The kitchen provisions were sparse. No microwave as stated. 1 old sponge to clean dishes and benchtops etc No furniture on the balcony and very wobbly railing. Not safe for children or adults for that matter. The description reads as recently renovated with lovely photos that are far from reality. It has a very creepy atmosphere as many of the other villas are empty and look quite derelict. On our arrival there were bags of rubbish sitting out front, not a good first impression! Overall a very disappointing experience 😕

Getting into the villa wasn't easy; we arrived at 3 AM, and we followed the instructions to get into the villa, but they missed out on vital information. End up, we all have to climb into the villa. No one to contact, no assistance, till the next day. It's very isolated unless you have transportation. The room wasn't cleaned properly. After the cleaning, the bathroom was still smelly. The staff is trying their best to accommodate you— no 24-hour contact, at least in an emergency, with no one to contact. We had three power cuts in the middle of the night, and no one to answer till the next da8 am!! A power cut means no water on the tap for the shower. We had a flight to catch in the morning, which was stressful.

The pool looked good.

There was no security. Anyone can come in anytime. There was no proper door or lock. The sliding doors cannot lock. There were no water heater/kettle, to make coffee. The pots and pans were all rusty and dirty. There were no tissues provided. The cleaners will come only once in 2 days and top up one small bathroom tissue roll. There are no paste. Shower gel was highly diluted. No front desk or amenities nearby.

It needs a bit of maintainance.
