Water ran out on the last day. It was a problem in another system. Kinda weird

The staff were relatively friendly and helpful, but….

The villa was clean enough but was in disrepair. I could tell right away that they didn’t keep up with it. Although clean, it had a grimy feel (there was part of an empty wasp’s nest in my shower, the grouting was gross, tiny ants in the bedroom, etc). That being said, I would have never written this part of the review if the following hadn’t occurred. I told the manager that I was headed back to Bali for nights and wanted to keep my room since it was non-refundable. I had intended to leave the majority of my belonging in the room, but as I was leaving for Bali, the manager said I should at least put my large suitcase and camera in the office for safekeeping. I agreed, but said I would leave my toiletries and some other smaller items as they were, as I didn’t want to unpack again. I should’ve known something was up when i saw on of the staff bring my sandals into the office as well. Why couldn’t they stay? The answer shouldn’t surprise you. They were intending to the rent the room to another guest while I was away, the non-refundable room I had booked with booking. My suspicion was correct when I came back and the receptionist tried to put me into another room because mine was “clean” yet. I peaked in my room and saw that there were traces of another guest, such as some items from the mini-bar used and out on the kitchen counter. Plus, they had removed all of my remaining belongings into the office. They just emailed guiltily when I called them out, so I handed over my keys, gathered up my stuff, and took my business elsewhere. Booking.com has yet to get back to me on my refund.

The private pool in each villa, the food was really good, and the staff were very accommodating and kind.

Super friendly staff!!! Helped with everything especially they organized a doctor for me when I had Bali belly and cared a lot for how I was feeling. Thank you very much for that!!!

Only thing to improve is that the pool needs to be cleaned regularly, like this is was not possible to swim in it.
