Sealuna Villas - Chic 4BR Villa with 2 Pools Near Beach

Lovely and peaceful and very comfortable

Not a lot but would be great to have a ceiling fan in the bedroom instead of having aircon on all night

The villa, amenities and staff were all amazing and above expectations. I was worried it looked too good to be true in photos but it really wasn’t. Beds were all comfortable, pool area was stunning and the whole villa was well maintained. Staff communication was also great and happy to help with any questions we had.

Location isn’t a dislike more just to be aware that it is 15-20 minutes on scooter into Canguu, which we were happy with as we had privacy, quiet and felt like we were far from busy areas without really being that far. We didn’t really want to leave the villa because it was so nice so we didn’t have problems with this and the staff organised scooters for us. There are also great spots to eat nearby which was great!

There is a lot of construction taking place next door which at times was very loud. That said the property clearly advised us of this and we appreciate it is out of their control.

We booked the one-bedroom villa for our last couple of nights in Bali due to its proximity to the airport - about 30 minutes drive by car - but also because it’s quite secluded and far from all the tourist packed areas that we tried so hard to avoid during our travels in Bali. The villa is absolutely lovely and intimate, just perfect for a couple. There’s a decently sized garden with a blooming pomelo tree, a small sized private pool and an open space living room and kitchen with all the amenities tourists would need, including a potable water dispenser. Indoors, there’s a reasonably sized bedroom with the most comfortable bed and the best smelling and cleanliest bed linen I’ve ever slept in while away from home. There are both an indoor bathroom with shower and an outdoor shower place, and I loved the sustainability aspect the management implemented by offering cotton pads to encourage customers to stop using towels as makeup removers. The property is independently owned and the owner was very forthcoming and welcoming and has provided us with an array of suggestions around restaurants and local attractions - we actually dined at a Latin American place that was 5 minutes away from the property and honestly we had the freshest and best value for money food ever.

There were no hard dislikes or negatives around our stay at the property but it’s worth mentioning: * Due to its remote location possibly, the property is CCTV monitored on the outside and there are many staff around during the daytime which put our safety concerns to rest. * It’s difficult to navigate to the property but the owner provided us with a location pin plus detailed instructions on how to get around. Even if you get lost, the owners are really prompt and responsive

I treasured every minute of my time at Sealuna. It was so clean and beautifully decorated, I loved the private pool and my own little backyard garden. I slept like a baby! Originally booked 4 nights but ended up staying 7. Definitely would stay there again!
