If you're a light sleeper, it can be a bit noisy due to the central location and wooden windows — but that’s part of the charm of staying right in the heart of the city. :-)

What I liked the most about the apartment in Palermo was its excellent location – right in the city center, close to public transportation and the main street, which made it very convenient to get around. Another big plus was the easy access from the airport – the train station is less than a kilometer away from the apartment. I really appreciated the possibility of a late check-in – I arrived after 11 PM, and everything went smoothly without any extra charges. We were also able to arrange signing the documents the next day, which was very convenient. The host was very friendly and helpful – although she didn’t speak much English, she communicated easily using her phone and was available 24/7 in case I needed anything.

What I didn’t like about the apartment was the poor sound insulation. Although it’s advertised as soundproof, the windows were not sealed well, and noise from the street — especially from the restaurant below — was clearly audible. Earplugs would’ve been helpful. We also missed a proper duvet; there were only covers, and it got chilly in the evenings, though the air conditioning worked very well and helped. The Wi-Fi was weak in our room and often disconnected, which also affected the smart TV — only three Italian channels worked, and streaming was nearly impossible. Towels were only changed once during our 4-night stay, and only one was replaced, even though there were two of us. One day, we briefly ran out of hot water in the shower, probably because neighbors used it up, but it returned after a while.

Loved this place in the middle of town! Need to make sure you have whatsapp to get instructions to enter building and the entry keys. Parking is impossible in the area. Only the $20/day pay garage nearby is an option or walking many blocks. The cleanliness was impecable. Never seen a place so clean and I travel weekly. It’s up one floor so easy to walk but there is also an elevador. Lots of night life and activity on the street below … and surrounding áreas. Excellent communication with the owner/manager. Wonderful place and so grateful for my stay!

Didn't do the breakfast but plenty of options nearby. Great location, although noisy at night.

Lack of tea/coffee and spoons. Almost ran out of toilet paper.
