Very unpolite staffs especially the supervisor. She even refused to say her name & insulted me. Very inconsiderate. They gave away the room i booked for & gave me lesser room without compensation. Was asking me to pay extra because i stayed some minutes above check-out time. Small breakfast for one instead of two

NOTHING.

I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience. I originally booked a room and was assigned what appeared to be a basement-level room with a glass partition facing an area where other guests could clearly see inside. On the other side of the glass was a veranda/common area where people were sitting and talking, which made it feel like there was no privacy at all. The room also had poor ventilation, making it very uncomfortable. Because of the lack of privacy and the condition of the room, I declined it and requested a refund since I had already paid. Instead of processing a refund, I was encouraged to pay extra for an upgraded room, which I eventually did. Unfortunately, the upgraded room was not much better. There were no towels, the bedsheets were dirty and had an unpleasant smell, and I had to call reception to have them changed. That process took longer than expected because there was initial resistance from the staff. Overall, the property had an unpleasant odor, and my experience with the staff particularly the lady in charge, it was disappointing due to her rude and unprofessional attitude. I was uncomfortable enough that I checked out the following morning as early as possible.

after booking online and confirming my booking, when I got to the venue, I was told it was fully booked, no prior notice whatsoever

El Castillo exceeded all expectations. Beautiful, spotless, and fresh with stunning aesthetics. The staff were exceptional, making sure my partner and I had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I've stayed at many hotels, but this one truly stood out. Hats off! 👌🏾
