My wife and I stayed here for a month and we had A LOT of issues with this place. This property is still being built so there’s LOUD construction all day long and it appears that the construction will continue for a while. We would wake up to drilling on our walls and hammering throughout the day. We asked about the construction noise the day we checked in and Kevin, the host, said it would only be a few days. A week later, we asked again, and he said they're almost done but noise just kept getting worse. It was extremely LOUD. My wife and I couldn't even talk to each other. By this time we got fed up and asked for a refund and that's when Kevin stopped replying to our messages. All we asked for is a refund for the remaining days since the sound was so loud and we would’ve rather stayed somewhere else. He was not responsive and I had to have booking.com contact him and he still didn’t respond. We did not hear from him even during check out. This place shouldn't have been rented out to begin with. There is A LOT of construction going on around the villa. It will likely take months before it's done and it's unfair to make money on bookings while all of this is going on. The property is also over priced. After we talked to a few locals and other tourists staying nearby, we found out that Kevin is making 3x what others are charging nearby. The property is in the outskirts of Pererenan (next to Canggu), you can’t walk to anything, you need to have transportation. So I’d recommend staying in a different location. The kitchen is also not well stocked and the pool is completely useless. This has to be the worst booking I've ever stayed at. Kevin's behavior is UNACCEPTABLE and he’s already received several complaints so save yourself the headache, there’s better places to stay.
