Le barman de l'hôtel absolument pas professionnel, qui ne s'occupe pas d'une personne au bar à qui il a servi un café (le pire café de Goteborg), et qui quand on lui demande du sucre (pour atténuer le goût immonde du café) répond "I am busy". What the fudge ?

Centralt läge, supergod frukost med ett stort urval!

Vi fick ett rum med fönster rakt in i en kontorsbyggnad så fick ha fördraget hela tiden. Kändes sådär med tanke på hur mkt vi faktiskt betalade för 1 natt.

Mooi hotel, ruime en mooie kamer, leuke bar, trams voor de deur, centrum direct naast hotel, goede ontvangst.

Ik kwam aan op Midsummer dus er was amper personeel in het hotel. Ik bestelde roomservice/eten, heb ook betaald maar nooit gekregen. Ik heb het geld ook nog niet terug, kreeg wel korting op eten in de bar beneden dus dat was netjes. In de organisatie ging er wel wat fout (o.a. reserveren van rooftop-restaurant) maar geen groot probleem. Er is geen parkeermogelijkheid dus je moet zelf een parkeergarage zoeken.

The staff at the reception desk were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. They recommended some great places to eat. We ended up watching the first half of the world cup in the bar here too as Sweden were playing - it was a really lovely atmosphere. It's a great location near so many restaurants and bars but also only a short walk to great shopping and sights. Right next to a bus and tram stop too. Rooms are so spacious with incredible views. Loved our stay and would 100% stay again when in Gothenburg.

The only thing to comment on is the beds a maybe a little too soft for me. But that is it. Great stay otherwise.

Our flight was delayed and we were exhausted and ended up missing the boat to the archipelago. We managed to get a last-minute room.

We had just arrived from Paris, where every single hotel in France we stayed at had exceptionally friendly staff who welcomed us with a smile and were always willing to help in any way they could. When we arrived at Draken, the experience was quite the opposite. The receptionist did what was required, but perhaps a simple “welcome” or a smile (which may not be part of her job description) would have made a huge difference. We were exhausted from our trip, and both my husband and I were scheduled to work remotely the next day with meetings throughout the day. All we needed was a good night’s sleep. When booking through Booking.com, we were offered an upgrade, but since our only plan was to sleep and leave after breakfast, we felt that a comfortable bed would be enough. After all, paying 1,400 SEK for one night should guarantee a decent night’s sleep in any room category. Unfortunately, we were woken up early in the morning by extremely loud construction noise directly outside our window. If other rooms were available - as seemed to be the case on Booking.com- could the receptionist not have informed us about the construction work? We would gladly have paid extra for a quieter room, especially since our plan was to sleep in and recover from our journey. Instead, we woke up exhausted and frustrated, packed our things, and decided to leave. All we needed was rest, and in this regard the hotel fell short when it came to communication, providing relevant information, and proactively managing the guest experience.
