Beautifully fit out, quite little oasis. Clean and very comfortable.

Nice location, close to beaches and restaurants. Friendly owner.

They seem to be building more villas so during the day there’s a bit of noise, but I think most people would probably be out exploring then, so not a major issue.

Wow. What a beautiful spot Sukmo has here. He went above and beyond for us on our stay, answered every question and also organised a scooter for us. He also organised a snorkelling trip for us which i 100% would recommend. Our villa was excellent, and the pool was awesome. Conditioning worked extremely well and the place was so clean and tidy. The location is ideal, super close to the beach and food places. I 100% recommend Villa Giyor with Sukmo and his family and we will 100% be back once we can get to Bali again

Absolutely wonderful accommodation hosted by a very kind and helpful owner. Could not find one fault against this place. Bedroom and bathroom are spotless and have every comfort, huge and particularly clean and comfortable hotel quality bed. Beautiful little yard and pool that is completely private. Host accommodated our every need and question and booked an absolutely fantastic snorkelling trip for us as well as providing a scooter at a very reasonable price and booking our boat back to Bali. The place is finished to a very high standard. Location is perfect, walking distance to main street and a quick scooter to any restaurant or sight on the island. Could not recommend more.

Nothing to fault about the property or host. Just be aware that the closest beach, while beautiful, is not swimmable as it is very shallow. You can swim at Jungutbatu beach which is a walk or short scooter away but it’s not great for swimming either due to boats docked in the water and rocks close to shore. The island isn’t really ideal for swimmable beaches - more for snorkelling and pool swims.

The pictures looked great and the host was very responsive. Unfortunately, our experience completely changed upon arrival. The Villa was infested with ants, which is an indication of cleanliness issues. When my wife sat on the chair on the pool deck, she was immediately covered in ants. There was a poisonous ant trap in the bedroom. When we reached out to the host, he was apologetic. We advised him we could not stay and he indicated we could request a refund through Booking.com. When we did so, he refused to refund any part of our money. We were left scrambling to find accommodations last minute and spent a lot more money. Buyer beware. I would not recommend these accommodations.

The Villa could have been cleaner and the ant infestation addressed. When we requested a refund because the Villa was not what we paid for, the host could have agreed to refund our money.

The location was perfect at the quiet north end of the island. Our hosts were so friendly. The pool was great for cooling off after a long walk down the main street.Heaps of restaurants nearby.
