Review for Onda Marina Suites, Cagliari We were 4 people and wanted to book 2 rooms. From the description and photos, it looked fine, but on arrival we discovered it was actually one room with foldable beds. The interior was grey, dark, and depressing, with a terrible smell. The area itself felt dodgy, facilities were lacking, and hygiene was very poor. When we saw the room, we refused to stay and kindly asked the landlady to cancel free of charge. Instead of being understanding, she started shouting aggressively on the phone, saying that we had seen the pictures, that we booked it, and that she couldn’t do anything. She even said she had kids and was going to sleep, then turned off her phone. Later she realised she didn’t have our passports and began threatening us that unless we sent her passport photos, she would come with the police. Only after we said we were not staying did she calm down. We never got our money back. We called Booking.com twice to request a refund and are still waiting. This is honestly the worst place I have ever encountered in all my travels and by far the worst host I have ever dealt with. Avoid at all costs!

Unorganised reception, the bathroom smelt like mould and it was quite noisy as there were people coming in and out past midnight. Wouldn’t recommend

AULocation was good, parking typically bad for old towns, easy walking to the train station takes about 8 minutes with luggage. Lots of restaurants/cafe right out the door. Room was large and there was a lift. Liked the combination style security for two of the doors.
No kettle even though it said in booking information. Asked for one and did get it but there were no cups! They have coffee machine but plastic disposable cups!Free Toiletries were a few plastic bags of a soap liquid? Safe didn’t work.
