Villa UmaDahayu

The entire team at Villa Umadahayu provided exceptional service throughout our stay. A special thank you goes to Wayan, house keeping and the groundsman who kept the property in excellent condition. Daily breakfasts was delicious and no request was ever too much trouble. The team truly made us feel welcome, we had a wonderful stay and didnt want to leave.

The staff at the villa were excellent and very responsive. Whenever we had a request or a question, they always tried to accommodate us. The villa has a lot of great spaces to hang out at, like the billiard/table tennis room, large TV room and a large dining/living room.

The breakfast at the villa was not the greatest, as some of the preparations were not the most appetizing. By the end of our stay, we preferred going to a restaurant for breakfast. Also, the location of the villa was not the best; it was in a narrow alley, so vans and large cars struggled to drive in. Finally, the furniture is a bit worn and not very well-made.

The host, wayan was amazing! So accommodating, bought fresh seafood to have the chef prepare for us, food was great. All the staff there were attentive to our needs and our driver putu was always ready to drive us around

The property had great spaces, with 11 family members we never felt like we were on top of each other. It was also in an out of town location so it gave plenty of opportunity to relax. All rooms were large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. The banana pancakes a firm breakfast favourite and the availability for choice. I asked the manager if it was possible to have some mangosteens with breakfast and the very next day Wayan had them on the table for us. Nothing seemed to much for most of the staff, even chasing down and distracting a local bird that lost its sense of day to give us a peaceful sleep at night 🙏🏼 TVs in every room meant every one of the 5 children could all have their down time and no one was fighting over channels. We were all very excited about the prospect of a karaoke night however it huge system was to difficult to work. Far enough out but not to far. Nice big accomodation for big groups and a reasonable price and only $3 on Gojek fo a taxi most places.

There was a few nails protruding from the deck that presented opportunity for injury but never caused any thankfully. There was no mattress for the day bed and only 3 pool loungers. There was no assistance to use the media room or instructions on how to use facilities. This would have been helpful

I was shocked at how amazing this place was, when booking in Bali you always think the photos might be making it look better than it is. This was not the case! This place exceeded our expectations, the staff were always available and they would go get us drinks or food as we needed. Wyan was such a great host and went above and beyond for my partner's birthday by putting our a 5m birthday message made of flowers on the lawn. Cannot recommend more for a large family holiday/celebration like we had.

I don't mind because always get a bike, but this place is 10 minutes out of the town centre via Grab and because of it secluded location some Grab cars found it difficult to find. But the seclusion and quiet is what I like.
