I am compelled to leave a one-star review for MIRAPH Apartment 2 due to the utterly disappointing experience I endured during my stay from December 20th to 22nd. To begin with, upon my arrival at MIRAPH 1, I was informed by Precious that my booking was mistakenly placed in their second location. Despite my request for her to accompany me to the new apartment, which I was unfamiliar with, she later agreed but Upon reaching the destination, I was informed that there were no available rooms, and I was offered the privilege of staying in the sitting room until the late checkout at 6 PM. This was at 1 PM, mind you, leaving me to languish for five hours outside my designated room. As if this wasn’t frustrating enough, Precious later contacted me via WhatsApp to discuss payment. I had initially seen a rate of $21.92 on Booking.com, but she insisted that the new MIRAPH 2 was more expensive, forcing me to pay an inflated rate of $23.57. To add insult to injury, the electricity was out, meaning I was unable to use the air conditioning. The only source of power was an inverter that could barely keep a fan running, leaving me with a blocked nose and a terrible sense of discomfort. When the power finally returned later that night, it was short-lived; the electricity cut out again within an hour. By morning, the solar inverter had also failed due to a lack of charge, prompting me to check out as early as 7:30 AM, still suffering from the effects of that wretched fan. The only redeeming aspect of my stay was the StarLink internet, which, while unstable, was a slight improvement over my mobile data. Regarding the staff, my experience was equally disheartening. Nimatu, one of the employees, approached me while I was in the sitting room, begging for noodles after noticing I had brought several with me. Although I reluctantly gave her one, I was appalled by her audacity.

Everything was working perfectly. Water in the bathroom, AC, WIFI, Netflix. Very important is the fact that Precious was very professional and made my stay very comfortable. Also, I got discount cause I stayed for three nights

Nothing to hate

People are nice. Place is calm and peaceful. The idea of having a shared kitchen, which contained a washing machine and microwave, is very comforting. This is very much worth the stay and I recommend it 100%.

Only little issue is the location, where the place is located is not so developed. Not at all a big deal as I’m sure no one will come to sight see the area of the beautiful apartment. Mostly in and out, not in and around.

The room was clean and spacious, Wifi was good, and the host was friendly and swift in responding to every enquiry and request. It felt like a home away from home. PS: I forgot to mention the shared kitchen and free laundry, they both came in handy!

When reading the reviews, the location was my only reservation, and I understood why when I arrived. However, it was no snag for me. The proximity to a supermarket, restaurant (Chicken Republic), and street food was enough consolation.
