Roslyn House

The Roslyn House is simply spectacular. It’s a small property with only a few rooms BUT it is an exquisite little jewel. The decor is tasteful and beautifully executed. Every detail tiny is perfect. Our room was exceptionally comfortable and had a very pretty view. There is a small lounge for relaxing with an evening drink and a breakfast hamper including a selection of meats, cheese and bread/croissants is provided in room along with coffee/tea and juice, yogurt and cereal. There is ample on street parking immediately proximate to the property and several fun dining options just a 3 minute drive down into Tobermory. If we ever return to Tobermory, we would book into Rosyln House.

High standard and exquisitely decorated rooms. Lovely conservatory and a well stocked honesty bar. Small outside space with seat. Welcome bottle of champagne and superb hospitality box. Breakfast box is excellent with good local produce. Room was immaculate and cleaned to a very high standard. This was our second stay within last two months. Couple of minutes walk down to harbour and main street! Highly recommended 5 Stars

No sound insulation in one of the rooms we stayed in however for us was not that big an issue

Beautiful house. Stunning decor influenced by Art Deco. Very comfortable and quiet. Lovely breakfast supplies in the room fridge for a private breakfast.

I’ve never stayed at a more beautiful hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The food and honour bar were incredible touches. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to feel special. If I ever went back to Tobermory, I would book here without a doubt. It should be rated a 8 star hotel!!!

Very nice boutique hotel, clean and totally no staff at the premises which works out great. Loved the breakfast in the room. Parking is free, right in front of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again

The staff/swipe card free check in is awesome. The room was well appointed - USB sockets in the plugs, plenty of coffee/tea/snacks. The bed was super comfy; fab views and the honesty bar/lounge was great! Very clean and well kept.

Very clean and generous on food for dinner and breakfast including rolls, salami, smoked salmon etc and a bottle of sparkling wine !

We stayed in room 4 in Roslyn House recently. The room was beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable, with handy ironing facilities available in the room. Everything had been thought of (although we would have loved a full length mirror somewhere!) but from the position of the plugs, to the layout of the bathroom, the attention to detail was meticulous. We had no interaction with staff, but the breakfast hamper was wonderful (although it could maybe have been made more clear that the sparkling wine in the fridge was included and not part of the honesty bar). The hamper included fresh orange juice, lovely fresh bread rolls with butter and jam, two packaged croissants, a generous amount of mull cheddar (delicious), a packet of smoked salmon and another packet of charcuterie meat, two yogurts and some delicious preserved fruit, granola, sparkling wine (which was lovely), nespresso coffee, and delicious island bakery biscuits. We had more than we needed and enough to get us on the road the next day. We had a lovely view of Tobermory harbour from our room and welcomed the chance to relax. For anyone arriving by bus, don't make the mistake we made and get off at the final terminus - get off at the second to last stop at the roundabout, as otherwise you'll have a long walk up hill with your suitcases, but the location is great when not hefting around luggage - a short 3 minute walk into the centre of town.

Full length mirror would be lovely!

Very nice. Floors a little squeaky so could hear other guests walking. Very nice amenities.
