GBThank you to Albert and Aileen for a wonderful stay at Grainbank Mews. The room was beautiful and sparkling clean, with a delicious breakfast prepared for us each morning. Great location, just outside Kirkwall and a couple minutes' drive to all the shops and restaurants. We were really curious about life on Orkney, and Albert was very kind and informative, even pointing us in the direction of the 'Orkney Dictionary' (which I bought!) This place is a treasure and we would love to stay again the next time we are in town.

GBClean and comfortable, nice modern interior in a lovely old building. The bathroom was great and very spacious as a wet room. Pleasant owner, knowledgeable and helpful of the area and our needs.
Unable to put single beds together (alas twin room was the last room available, however). No clothes storage/furniture in the room so had to live out of bags or stack items on a chair)
AUBreakfast provided was lovely with good choice of cereals and lovely fruit salad.
