Fantastic location and tasteful design.

The stairs from entrance to the level of the building where the hotel is situated, are badly lit uneven. This is nothing to do with La Balza but has a small impact on the experience. Great bar on the beach called Dali which does excellent sword fish panini.

Great location in sea front. Lovely shared balcony with chairs and bed. We stayed in the penthouse which was ideal with our own private balcony.

We needed a bathroom cabinet or a shelf for toiletries in bathroom and drawers in the bedroom or hallway.

Clean and modern B&B in an excellent location, steps from a beautiful beach.Common kitchen and lounge areas are lovely. The terrace has a great view of the sea. Beach towels are available. Massimo and staff are available to answer any questions. He booked transportation for us from the airport in Reggio to Scilla at an excellent price. So glad I chose La Balza!

There’s not a lot of storage space so keep that in mind. A few more hooks and an extra shelf would help.
