Staff incredible especially the front desk. The room "only" had three balconies overlooking the sea. So very comfortable. Breakfast people were great, location could not be beat. To quote a friend, " it's expensive but if you don't stay there your kids will". Pat and Kandi Walters

Better room coffee

The location and the view from our room were fantastic. San't Angelo is beautiful. The room was large and filled with light true to the photos on the website. Having two balconies ( Room 5) with both sea and village views were a bonus and I loved the sun loungers on the balcony. The generous size bed was super comfortable with lovely linen, the room was very quiet ensuring a good night's sleep. It was nice to have specific towels for the beach..

It is not a hotel as such, one checks in and has breakfast at Hotel Casa Celestino but it's only a few steps away. The lighting in the bathroom was poor. There is no elevator, so steps to climb. The buffet breakfast was average, and cooked options i.e. porridge was extra. San't Angelo is small with limited dining options.

We loved everything about Roccobarocco. The location was absolutely stunning. It is located on a quiet, peaceful street without cars so there is no noisy traffic, just the sound of the sea below. The staff was so attentive, helpful and friendly. They even insisted on coming in early on the day we left to make us a special breakfast! We stayed for 6 nights and wished we could have stayed much longer!

We loved everything!

We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating! My partner is gluten free and this was noted and accommodated for our inclusive breakfast when we arrived. Our room was spectacular with amazing ocean views. The large ocean facing terrace was great for sunbathing and relaxing, and there was another balcony with stunning views. We loved having aperitifs on the hotel restaurant deck which overlooks the ocean and town of Sant Angelo. Breakfast was fantastic! There was a great selection of breakfast foods that you can choose from each day at the restaurant. The kitchen staff made an omelette each day for us with a choice of fillings ❤️. The location of the hotel in Sant Angelo is fantastic! There’s a lovely small beach, many local shops and restaurants nearby the hotel. We went to the beach most days after breakfast. I recommend hiring a car for getting from the port to the hotel. We had a little smart car and that allowed us to explore the island. Streets on Ischia are small and a small car is advised.

The hotel was perfectly located and the staff were so friendly and very helpful organising excursions or transport. The food from the restaurant was fantastic and the included breakfast was generous. Views from the room are gorgeous and our room was quite spacious.
