Villa Diamond Luxury Suite

The location was unbeatable. Every time we walked to or from, we were grateful for the location. In Positano standards, it was close to the beach and restaurants, without too many stairs to get there (mind you, EVERYWHERE you go in Positano requires walking and stairs! But this location was quiet but still made everything very accessible. The view is amazing! The semi-private terrace was private enough for us. Yes, the guests in the other unit had to occasionally walk through, but it was seldom and didn't bother us at all. Breakfast on the terrace was great! We looked forward to our time out there every day! The service was outstanding, attentive and easy to contact via Whatsapp.

Minor complaints- the coffee (cappuccino, americano) with breakfast was terrible. The mattress was not comfortable.

The apartment is spacious and has lovely decor. The shower has the best view with a window you will photograph many times! The balcony is big with loungers and a great view of the main beach where breakfast is served in private to you at your leisure every morning-it was truly sublime! The kitchen is big with a good enough small fridge, two plates and a coffee machine that can make cappuccino if you bring coffee powder and milk. The coffee machine tripped the power and ‘outside bath’ had to be fixed but the staff sorted it out quickly. The bath took 3 hours to fix. The outside bath is about 25cm deep and you must lie down; it is not a regular jacuzzi. On our last night we had neighbours in the adjoining apartment who had a fight and left the lights on which rendered our balcony unusable. Prepare for 170 stairs up to car level and 145 down to ferry/beach level where there are fabulous restaurants and great shopping. Pack light or pay porters €15 per bag and parking €60-70. We loved our stay and would come again but better prepared! Positano is out of this world-the beach is not nice though, with black sand and stones so bring swimming shoes. Claudio and Titziana were absolute stars checking in frequently and available on whatsapp immediately.

It has a neighboring apartment which infringes on your privacy and we had to walk onto their balcony to exit. We were not told about the stairs (although once you know Positano you’ll understand it comes with the territory!) and we did not pack light. The staff were absolutely great but you need to bring supplies if you don’t want to make multiple trips. There is no microwave. The outside very shallow bath is not a jacuzzi and smelled funky until fixed. The shower floor and other floors are all VERY slippery when wet-be careful!

EVERYTHING!!! This place is amazing!! The breakfast on the patio, hot tub, view, the staff, the beds and pillows are comfortable the shower/view from the shower (Our kids loved the shower!). It was so great we want to make this place an annual trip to this hotel. We have been to Posiatno before and stayed somewhere else, which we loved, but it was booked for this trip. I am glad it was, because this place was amazing! Don't second guess just book this place, you wont regret it!

Not a dislike but a might need to know. You do have to walk up a lot of stairs to get to your room. But honeslty if you are in the almafi coast you will eventually have to walk up and down stairs and hills to get anywhere.

Honestly, u won’t regret it. Even the view when u take a shower is sick. After a long day of climbing stairs, that jacuzzi is on point.

Villa Diamond was love from the first sight, from the very first moment Everything was more than perfect The welcome, the cleanliness, the beauty in every detail. You feel it immediately The location is unbelievable. This is not just a place to stay, this is the full Positano experience The view is unforgettable. Morning, day, sunset, night, the whole Positano is right in front of you, like a dream. The jacuzzi made everything even more special, especially with the cooler weather. Warm water, that view, that feeling, just perfect One of the most special moments for me was my birthday. It started on the morning we were checking out, and even though we were leaving, they still surprised me with a beautiful dessert and warm birthday wishes. It made me really happy. The breakfast was amazing, generous and at a true luxury level. And the team was incredible. Especially the girls who took care of us. They were kind, warm, very helpful, spoke English, and even filmed a video for me. You don’t just stay here, you feel special here. If I could, I would give this place a million stars. I will definitely come back.

They told us it was going to be a private jacuzzi, when we arrived we were told another guest in the other villa would have to walk through our "private space." Claudio, the "host" was nice, but was also randomly stopped by 2-3x for the guest next door. It's good if you are single, not if you want to have a private space for you and your wife.
