"Great location, shame about the coffee."

A classic British small-town hotel. Very convenient to the Wickham festival - a few minutes' walk form the entrance. Would make a good base for exploring the area, although dining options in the area seem to be lacking (I didn't explore). Very comfortable room and reasonabke bathroom. Shower was nice and hot.

Coffee at breakfast was instant powder. At the price paid, this is unacceptable.

"Excellent B & B"

Charming B & B which is excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and attentive and make every effort to ensure you have a great stay. The room is clean and very comfortable and there is plenty of parking. I'm looking forward to staying again very soon.

Outstanding reception by staff upon ( scheduled late - 10pm) arrival - nothing hurried or too much trouble. Clean room. Very comfortable bed. No traffic noise. Excellent shower with plentiful soapy luxuries. Average cooked breakfast (cheap sausages). Safe ample off road parking. Needs a prominent, clearly named roadside sign as I missed it first time in the dark and pouring rain.
