Sladen Lodge

Sladen Lodge is a wonderful property, and Lynne was a fantastic host. It’s located close to the center of Hathersage, and there’s a ton to do in the area. Lynne was very accommodating when I arrived early, and she has great restaurant recommendations. The room was clean and comfortable, and the lodge itself was tranquil and peaceful.

There’s a rail track right next to the lodge, so it might be worth bringing ear plugs if you’re a sensitive sleeper.

The staff were lovely and made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The only thing that we would have liked was some hand soap/shampoo and a bigger bin in the room.

Beautiful base for exploring the Peak district. As comfortable as staying in your own home with every thing you could need.

Breakfast was absolutely excellent and beautifully presented!

I liked everything, but would have liked bedroom and bathroom to have had more space.

Lovely home to stay in. Big and roomie.

Hard to get WiFi.
