Marriot Airport Hotels

Quite frankly, the staff at the reception were superb. The outside look of the hotel is great with a bold sign Marriot Airport Hotel. But that’s the trick. As soon as you get inside, if you’ve been to Marriott before, you realise, wait a sec, this can’t be Marriott. First room, airconditioning not working, bathroom is as as unkempt as you would not get in the cheapest motel. When I was served breakfast of scrambled egg and bread, I was told they didn’t serve culteries because customers usually stole them. Yes, no cutleries for a $57/night hotel, that’s about 45,000 Nigerian Naira

DO NOT STAY HERE! The staff seemed nice enough. I had to sleep with earplugs because Jet's were taking off constantly. WIFI was sketchy. it took quite a bit of trial and error to get that working. The Bar and restaurant can't take a credit card and they can't put the charge on the room. I had to send the payment for my meal directly into the cooks bank account! I chose the "Pay at the property" option so I could lump all my expenses together and just pay when I checked out. That was not even close to an option. The owner/manager told me that if I paid on location I'd have to pay a higher price, I contacted Expedia. Expedia said, the hotel is not allowed to do that because it is a violation of their agreement. At that point, I packed my bags and left before the second night of my stay! Do NOT stay here! there are many better options!
