Mosaic On The Hill

Location was OK but property was not really maintained that well.

Floor in the bungalow sloped one way and was uneven. The shower was not great, and the water got all over the floor. The patio was not great and there was a rusted out fire pit with nothing else to be able to use. Also, having a better walkway or another door to the patio would be nice. Overall, it seems like nothing has been spent making this property a better place for visitors.

The location of the house is wonderful. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch at the small table. There was ample room in the suite.

The property could use some TLC. There were tree branches and debris on the porch which needed sweeping. The table on the porch was very dirty. We cleaned it so that we could use it. The cushion on the bench on the porch was moldy. There were lots of dead or dying plants on the inside (going up the stairs). The towels in the bathroom were clean but used and worn. The faucet on the vanity was loose. One of the large rocking chairs on the side lawn was broken. There was a cushion in the back fenced in area that was torn and stuffing laying everywhere. I received so many emails before my arrival and not once in them did I see that we were suppose to take off the sheets and put them by the door. On the email from the 6th which I just checked today, I see the check out instructions.......I do not check my emails every single day. It would have been nice to have these instructions with the confermation emails.

Peaceful

I stayed king suite. I think It would be great if the bathroom would be truely private to the room. All is needed is to add a wall and door. Easy fix. Sometimes it's not known who is in the leaving room or who can be there since the front door is always unlocked not to safe .... Great place to be just needs to be a little more safe for everyone

I loved how cozy it felt, and it truly helped our group unplug.

The gravel road going towards it was a little scary.

We've stayed in many rentals in the area. This was out first time renting through Hotels.com. the place was secluded, as advertised. However, there were no outside lights. (If there were they were difficult to locate or was ot working). Also, for the cost pwr nught , the place could use major updating. The bed was flimsy. Although the advertisement regarding the old stove cane across as nostalgic, the stove was simply pathetic and the place smelles liked leaking gas. There was no way I would have attempted to light the stove for fear we might have been blown to smithereens!!! Also, there was no TV. I'm not sure if that was mentioned. It should have been pointed out. The place and grounds need major updating. Again, for the price, I would not recommend and will not be staying again.

Cute property. Definitely an old cabin. It was humid and bedroom was hot even with a/c on. We did enjoy our time there and loved the surroundings

There was no pool

Very private location and covered parking. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well equipped. No issues with check in or out, and good communication from the host. NOTE: this house did not have a television, which we didn’t realize until we got there. There is good WiFi so we were able to use our phones for entertainment, but no TV is really the only drawback. Would book again.
