Great location, close to everything but still quiet. Nice old building very well presented. Nicely decorated, very clean and in an unusually good state of repair. Owners were friendly and helpful. FREE parking.(Many hotels in Paignton charge). Competitively priced.

Lovely room, ceiling fan ,Cleanliness amazing.... lots of well thought out little details,love the fridge, shower gels etc. Hosts very friendly/helpful would recommend 100%. Location great, short walk to beach.

Lots of stairs , I have mobility issues, but the hosts made us aware of this before our arrival so a personal thing which would not stop us staying again.

Handily located, clean, comfortable and very welcoming. Claire and Steve take a genuine interest in their guests without being OTT. They make you feel like a welcome guest, not just a visiting grockel.

Nothing to dislike. Claire and Steve were the perfect hosts. Breakfast hot all the right spots. Claire and Steve were always on hand to give advice and recommendations on where to go for sightseeing or eating. They have not been in the property for too long and yes something's do need a bit of attention, but you can see what they doing. Rome was not built in a day. I would not hesitate to stay at the Clifton again. The room was nice and bright and clean. If I had to mark them and the property I would give 9.5/10

Were made very welcome. Both Steven and Claire very friendly and helpful. Room, although small had everything we needed, was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely go back
