had a very good stay, cosy and quiet, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful when needed, checkin was very easy using the access codes, they mentioned they changed to codes because guests kept losing the keys, and the codes also felt more secure than traditional keys Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

The room was a bit small. I have stayed in better places before. The bed needs to be up graded.

Great location. Room was lovely and clean. Fresh bedding. Good size for 2 of us. Shower was great. Bed very comfy with great pillows. Plenty of plu sockets around the room. Cleaners were lovely and friendly. Knocked the door but we hadn't left for the day so asked if there was anything we needed and popped back in while we were out with fresh towels, re stocked whatever we needed and cleaned. Had a slight issue when we first got in our room but messaged the owner and he came straight up and it was resolved. Very helpful and friendly man.

There was nothing we didn't like. A hook or something in the bathroom just to hang our towel on but wasn't a big deal. Just hung it on the sink. Already booked our next stay in August.

It is central to the town with shops, amusements, pier, fun transport such as the land trains and the open-top buses. It is an elegant Victorian building with high ceilings and I had a room with a balcony, which is lovely to sit on and watch the world go by from a safe space.

There was no en suite toilet / bathroom so if you needed to “go,” you’d have to go along the corridor and also if you wanted a shower, you’d have to remember to take all your toiletries with you. It’d be nice to have a fan in each room, particularly for those hot summer nights.
