The Kedleston Country House

We only wished we had more days at Kedleston Country House to enjoy staying in this beautiful atmospheric house and the stunning countryside and all else that Derby has to offer. I liked having fresh milk in the room and breakfast was simply outstanding. We had the warmest of welcomes which made our short stay feel like home from home.

There was a very loud party that took place at the hotel for the one night we stayed, we were only told the day before because the staff called to say that there are not serving food. I would have liked more warning so I could make different arrangements. The music was very loud until midnight. Very disapppinted

My wife and I attended a funeral at Allestree Crematorium. The post funeral refreshments for those attending were provided by The Kedleston Country House. These were excellent in both quality and quantity. As we had traveled a distance we opted to stay on overnight at the Hotel.. A good decision. We had a nice warm room and a superb breakfast.
