Station Lounge & Rooms

Great loctaion Great location with parking near the town marketplace, big enough for our 4x4.   We were given a free upgrade. The room was great, very spacious.  wiht

Not enough brew kit.

Great location, nice comfortable room. Very helpful and friendly staff. Also really good bar with great food.

The staff were friendly- nothing was too much trouble and they did all they could do make our stay comfortable. Our room was a really good size and gave us plenty of space to spread out and get comfortable. The location is great too- accross the road from the train station and so close to the centre of town, with lots of cafes and places to eat nearby. Having on-site parking was a blessing too- so convenient, as we had travelled a long way, it saved us a stress and an extra expense.

Housekeeping had forgotten pillow cases, but this was rectified really quickly and efficiently. We could have done with more toilet roll in the room, but again, the team were really helpful.

The actual building is beautiful, very traditional and the interior has been tastefully renovated.

Room was clean and bed comfortable.

Insufficient toilet roll in room and shower wasn't great, went from scalding hot to freezing cold and the water pressure was poor.

Staff very attentive and helpful, always on hand if you have any queries or need help, very nice hotel

Room done very tastefully, bath in en-suite, nice quality diy tea provided

No staff in building overnight
