Très bon emplacement

Very good place to stay, it is simple but all you need is there! The owner is very nice and helpful, he became our driver for the day to Kawah Ijen for cheaper than what other travelers paid with others. You have fresh water and he let us the room for the whole day with our bags in it. He even let us take a shower when we came back smelling sulfur because of the crater.

The toilets are not inside the room but they are separated from the shower which is a nice change :-)

For me this homestay is 10/10 because it's super close to the ferry pier as well as the train station. I slept here one night after a long day of travel and even though I got a late ferry, the friendly receptionist was there to check me in. I was happy to arrive to a basic but clean room! Free hot/cold bottled water available anytime.

No ensuite bathroom but I don't mind. Why? This place is simple, comfortable and super clean. Plus, it's just a throw stone to the train station and if you throw harder, it reaches the ferry harbour. For the rate you pay, it's perfect. I was one night here. Almost forget: the host was super friendly and helpful. Recommended!

Best value for money

Basic but expected given price. Only stayed for 1 night to get some sleep before catching ferry so didn’t bother us too much.
