Greenwood Manor Inn

We spent a great wedding weekend at Greenwood Manor Inn. Barb met us at the front door and welcomed us to the Inn. Barb and her husband Ray were very welcoming and down to earth people. The Inn is old and dated and that is exactly what we expected. If you are looking for a Hampton Inn experience where every room looks the same this is not the place for you. We happened to luck out and got the suite which had a small sitting area and was a little larger than the other rooms. If it is an issue please be advised that there are stairs involved and no elevator. The view from the room was beautiful overlooking manicured gardens. Coming from the south it was nice sleeping with the windows open, a welcome change from the suffocating humidity we normally experience. There is a private covered back porch where a pre-wedding party was held. Beautiful surroundings, a great Maine nature experience, and super friendly hosts. Breakfast was the bomb and again Barb and Ray were gracious and accommodating not to mention serving great food. It sure beats the microwaved eggs at chain hotels. This is a place when you want to get away, get unplugged (phone service and internet service were spotty) read a book or two and commune with nature. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a totally different experience from the chain hotels. Don't be alarmed at the lack of content on the internet this place is old school that includes old school hospitality.

My husband and I stayed here for an evening to attend a friends wedding nearby. The inn was clean and accommodations comfortable. We were able to check in early and get ready for the wedding as there were no guests the previous night. The best was the breakfast the next morning, everything was delicious (eggs, bacon, breads, pancakes). The innkeeper also kept out an afternoon snack which is a nice touch.

Was there weekend of of 9/28/ 9/29 for a wedding in a nearby venue. Barb and Ray are really great accommodating genuine people with a huge gaggle of grand kids including # 14 born while we were there. The place is classic NE beautiful grounds and the rooms were very nice, clean comfortable. The area is a lake region with towns of Harrison, Bridgton and Naples close by for whatever tourist thing you want to do. We loved being there and would certainly return. Very relaxing stay. Accommodations were inviting and comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and was excellent, both in taste and service. Beautiful and spacious outdoor patio available for enjoying morning coffee.

We stayed there while visiting family. Barb and Ray were great, are room was very nice. Breakfast was the perfect start to our day. We will not stay any place else when we go to Maine. It was within walking distance to Harrison Marina for boat rental. They have a nice restaurant in town. Barb and Ray thank you for making our visit very nice.

My husband and I stayed here when we came up from Ohio to attend a nearby wedding. The place is gorgeous and very well kept, and when we walked in Barb was there to greet us and made us feel very welcome. The room was very cozy and had a private bathroom. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and Barb and Ray were very gracious hosts. Would definitely stay here again!

My family booked the entire inn to celebrate our mother's 75th birthday. Barb and Ray provided such a relaxed and easy environment for us during our 2 night stay. The layout of the inn was ideal. Spacious guest rooms with private baths. Very comfy common spaces for us to lounge and relax. The youngest in our group is 2 and the oldest 86. Everyone was happy. Great breakfast! Thank you Barb and Ray for helping us make Ma's birthday so special.

The Greenwood Manor Inn offers an absolutely delightful B&B environment. The rooms and linens are lovely, Barb is a very gracious host, and breakfast is hot and delicious. She also provides a cookie and wine table and a gathering area with a gas fireplace, TV, and books. Plus, her gardens are lovely. If you're planning a trip to Bridgton Academy or to the Bridgton area, this is unquestionably your best bet for lodging. We'll be back!

Barb and Ray were fantastic hosts! From the moment we walked into the door (and were met with wine, should you choose!) we felt comfortable and welcome. The room and bed were cozy, clean, quiet and super comfortable. The inn is a reflection of the owner's care and hard work. Breakfast was several courses and all homemade (you won't need lunch!) and very tasty. Our two night stay couldn't have been better. Thank you Barb and Ray!

This was the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend getaway to catch up with friends! Barb and Ray were the perfect hosts, and the Inn itself is cozy, clean, and very comfortable. We enjoyed drinks by the fire in the living room, and a delicious breakfast in the morning. I cannot wait for my next visit to the Greenwood Manor Inn!!
