Breakfast was a typical all you can eat arrangement which set me up for the day, didn't need anything else to eat until tea time

had to use a communal shower but got used to the situation pretty quickly & there were no issues

Not enough lounge type seating nearly every space was dining table seating , no where to sit with a drink and relax great for dining , bit not relaxing

Das kleine, direkt über der Uferpromenade liegende Hotel bot uns einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf das Meer. Der Empfang war freundlich und das Zimmer nett eingerichtet. Wohl auch weil man am Abend ein Carvery-Restaurant ist, wurde auch zum Frühstück ein Buffet offeriert, was für uns Europäer, die nicht immer Blutwurst und Speck wollen, sehr willkommen war.

Eine Sitzgelegenheit zum Schreibtisch wäre sinnvoll und in einem Zimmer, in das die Morgensonne fällt, wären dichte oder zumindest dunkle Vorhänge sinnvoll und nicht leicht gewebte in hellbeige.

De kamer was schoon en ruim genoeg. Vriendelijk personeel en mooie ligging aan zee.

Continental ontbijt was karig.

The staff member on duty when i arrived was very friendly and helpful. He explained everything to me about the facilities and was really a nice guy. He kept engaging in conversation with me as I was on my own and waiting to be picked up. Would like to add he was checking people in, serving on the bar, taking bookings and generally running himself ragged. As a ex landlady myself I may sound a bit critical.

The only criticism I have is the noise. The door from the downstairs area up to the rooms could maybe benefit from a self close mechanism. People were opening the door and then letting it go once they had walked through it, hence it slammed shut, it was a bit annoying.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very nice.

The hotel was a little dated and slightly shabby but clean and plenty of hot water.
