Locanda Museum Hotel

The design and decoration is very elegant and modern which gives a comfortable feel . Good size for a small family. We enjoy the rooftop garden where you can see all sites of the Pyramids, the Grand Museum and city. Although there's a building site ( Meridian ) opposite the hotel, but I think when it's done, it will be even a better location.

The room was excellent. I really loved my stay! And breakfast was good. I stayed there for 5 nights and didnt get tired of it. Perfect view of the pyramids. Very nice staff.

The tour guide they gave had zero knowledge and was a complete disappointment. He would rarely say something during the tour, and when he did - it would be a request for tips/whining about bad economy/not true info about things we see. Basically his tour was like: look at the wall - here is a fish. Look at the pyramid - it’s higher than that one. Oh the prices for tomatoes are so much higher now than 3 years ago. Don’t forget tips for your guide. And for this I paid 80 usd (pyramids, saccara, Memphis) + all extra, incl tickets for him. I could have taken an uber for 20 usd for the same time and route… even less. Would not roll my eyes so much. Avoid taking the tours. Everything else was great.

8 gün boyunca Mısırda farklı yerlerde kaldık ama en iyisi buydu. Sıcak su mükemmeldi. Odalar gayet şık ve temizdi. Piramitlere ve GEM’e oldukça yakındı. Biz yürüyerek 30 dakikada falan gittik. (Yürümeyi seviyoruz hahshaha) Terasta gayet güzel piramit manzarası vardı. Kahvaltısında yumurta beklerdim olmaması üzdü. Wifi gayet iyiydi. Check out yapmamıza rağmen otelin terasını, lavabosunu falan kullanmamıza asla bir şey demediler. Çalışanlar gayet kibardı. Favorim girişteki mısır pisisi.

Close to GEM and Pyramids. Location is great. In walking distance to the GEM.
