Sarang Comfort

Love the unit! I didn't really like Canggu because of the traffic, but I had a really great stay. I stayed and work remotely here for a week, the internet is fast, there is a kitchen downstairs for you to whip up your meals and a rooftop area to chill with a sunset view. It's walking distance to Hungry Bird (best coffee in Canggu!), Baked, Milk and Honey and Lusa by Suka. Communication with the management is easy with WhatsApp if there's any problem. Housekeeping are done once every two days, they'll WhatsApp you for your preferred timing. Hot water is sparse, but not a problem for me.

The air conditioner started spitting ice on one random day because it was too cold, but a quick WhatsApp with the management solved the problem. Other than that, not much problem.

New, very clean, very comfortable, good service, great location, view from the room is amazing, great privacy, nice rooftop.

No lift - they will help you with your luggages though. Housekeeping knocking at my door at 7.30am on Saturday morning and just barge in when I didn’t answer. They have a system of messaging on WhatsApp before cleaning the room, but somehow thought it’s a good idea to barge in that early in the morning when I haven’t even woken up to read and reply their message. Wifi is not that great for video call but okay in general.

Great location in Canggu, quiet enough from the Main Street with close proximity to the fav cafe joint (Hungry Bird, Baked, Lusa by Suka etc). I stayed here for 6D5N, The Sarang Management creates a WhatsApp group for easy communication, housekeeping are done once every two days - they will ask you when is the best time to do housekeeping. There is a nice kitchen, a small pool and rooftop area. Toilet is clean and if you feel the water pressure is too low, try moving around the shower head to adjust the flow. Hot shower comes and goes, but this is not a big problem because cold shower is better in this heat.

There are no lift, so you’ll have to walk up the stairs almost everyday (my unit was on the 3rd floor). Good excuse to exercise but when you’re back from a night out it can be tiring haha. You can also request for the staff to carry your luggage for you. Also the AC started to spit out ice cubes when I set the temperature too low (below 15C). But a quick WhatsApp with the management solved the problem, I just need to set the AC at 21C and above and it’s comfortable enough for me.

We loved our stay at Sarang comfort. Will definitely come back
