Good value for money, quiet area, big room. Friendly staff.

The room didn’t match the photos at all but we couldn’t be bothered to argue so just kept it, overall a bit dirty, uneven broken floor, bathroom wasn’t great.

I did not have my breakfast there. The place is located near the town center and closed to Ferry Terminal. I find it convenient unfortunately you would require grab cycle or car to come out and roam around the city.

It is not really about I didn’t like, but, it is more of wasted opportunity for Batam because they don’t speak English well. Even the younger generation could hardly understand. I hope English Language will be taught at a standard level. I believe this could boost the economy through its tourism attractions or destination.

Budget friendly, feel cozy and safe place to live, very quite place, have spacious balcony to hang your clothes.

Although it is a quite place, it is far from the central region. Definitely need Grab to travel, if you're solo traveler. I recommended to have a sink in bathroom , for people to brush teeth and wash face.

Good location, near to Batam centre and pretty easy to find.There were some shops nearby. The room and toilet were pretty clean.

We waited quite some time for a staff to come and check us in. And upon checking in, we were informed that the room we had booked (with attached toilet) was actually a bigger room and cost extra and we need to pay if we want that room (apparently there was some mixed up but hasn't been corrected on the platform) I refused and we got a smaller room with separate toilet and a door that looked like it's going to break. I felt that it was a bit unfair.

The place is very near to the City. Homestay guy name Pondaa helped with the accomodation arrangements. He has helped to take bike rental at Batam and also brings me to try local food and friendly.

I have booked this place 2 weeks ago. I got message at booking.com from owner to cancel it at the last minute which no refund will be given. After talking to the owner on phone (Mr Yoga), he told he will arrange for accommodation since I am travelling from Malaysia. Things went worst went I landed in homestay and no room was available at the time and it was night. This was not informed earlier and the owner ignores the issue and inform to sleep with his friends for 1 day. After arguing to the owner, he told to take hotel outside at my own cost and pay for the 1st day. The room will be available on the 2nd day. luckily the guy Mr Pondaa has helped me to talk and arrange the hotel at last minute. Payment for the hotel (50/50) owner and me. This was worst experience which happen to me. At last got to know the family staying in homestay extended to another day which causes this issue. I am just very sad that I travel from Penang to JB to Batam (long hours by bus - grab - and ferry ) and this things happen and no apology was asked by the owner. I have booked room with aircond but the owner never plan to do refund and also arrange a room without aircond. I am grateful a good Samaritan like Mr Pondaa helped me in this situation. Wasted my time on arguing with the owner and spoil my Christmas visit to Church on 23rd December. Shared bathroom no soaps will be given.

Value for money and clean. Some of the rooms is crazily huge!

There's no swimming pool at the premise. Only one shared toilet upstairs and another one downstairs(limited headroom under stairs). Both without a sink/wash basin. Quite a lot of mosquitoes dawn/dusk. Electrical supply is insufficient thus trips very often if fully occupied but caretaker reset it almost immediately.

Not much. Just a typical guest house.

Stinky smell on the bathroom. Having difficulty in communication with people. I felt alone and i dont feel welcomed. Its far from the Center.
