Loved the propery but didnt get to enjoy the Grotto since its heating pump went out and the temperature was too cold to enjoy. Breakfast was good and different options but would of liked for the buffet dinner to have more oprions available. The hill country view was amazing from is deck view on top of property. The saloon on site was good and the ambience was very relaxing and enjoyable. Overrall we will definitely look into coming back hoping for the grotto to be available and some more dinner options.

Very rustic . Although the mix up of rooms booked through this site was told to directly contact resort next time. Was told trivago reserved a queen size bed when I selected a king size room on the site. I wish I would’ve known that. They do not have ice machines available morning breakfast was at 9 o’clock, which was a little late, but it was tasty. There are holes in the door panels to the room that could be better secured.

If you are considering to book here because you like the pictures shown on booking please think before you do it. The place does not reflect the quality of the amenities shown here. Indoor pool is not usable, trash found in many areas, abandoned rooms and other issues…. The location is good and the owner is nice but the installation do not meet the asking price. This is a 2 start hotel.

The view was amazing. It was nice and quit. Didnt get a chance to try the food on premises. The drive to anywhere is about 20 minutes. The only thing is the ac didnt work. It was kind of warm. But other than rhat it was a nice stay.

Very unique facility, staff is friendly, Keith is awesome, sings in saloon and leads sound bath sessions, its a very eclectic environment with old world artifacts used to build rooms and buildings. its not luxury, its a little rough but the bed is superb and everything is very clean. very close to Enchanted Rock State Park which is a must and 10 miles from Fredricksburg which is an absolutely wonderous small town. the pictures you will see make the resort look much more than it is. not complaining but the underground grotto is man made, and did not look like the picture nor did the outdoor pool but that being said it was a really unique stay and I should go again

Had a wonderful time at this Spanish village retreat. Some bonus items were live music, stargazing and sound baths along with wonderful views and friendly staff. Def recommend and will be returning. Thank you for a memorable experience.

Our room was great but what sold us was the view. Especially the view of the stars at night. Only thing I would complain about is that the bed was a little too soft. I would recommend for the bed to be a little more firmer.

It was probably a beautiful place 40 Years ago but the pics are much better than the facts. I am a little Picky but normally I will not even give a revue about places. You can see into everyone’s rooms and asking around. You can see through the cracks in the doors. Pool is tiny, green, cold. The whole place is cool but run down for sure.
