The Trois Estate at Enchanted Rock

I’m not one to leave reviews for Hotels, most of the time I get what I paid for and that’s about it. However, I have to say, that missing an opportunity to experience Trios Estates would be a mistake. This is not one of our run-of-the-mill, typical franchise resorts. Trios Estates is not simply a place to stay while visiting Fredericksburg Texas, it's an experience. Imagine stepping back in time, disconnecting from daily life's bustle and noise into a small Texas village. Walk down plate stone roads amongst rustic stucco buildings and the awe of central Texas beauty. We stayed 3 days 2 nights in the Gratto Suite, an underground suite through passages of large heavy wooden doors. The suite comprises stone and old-style brick hallways, leading to a wine room, bedroom, and private bath with access to the Gratto, a balcony overlooking the part of the property, and a private stone slide into the warm water underground pool. Choose which bed to use, both are spacious Kinks beds. Need a place for a major event the large barn-style event room is perfect for weddings, reunions etc. Rent out the Longe with its adjacent rooms, Bar, and ample sitting areas. Want to sit and watch a Texas sunset, the sky view deck is a large wooden Deck overlooking Enchanted Rock State Park removed from the noise of loud resort visitors partying, and the light pollution of the city. We walked to the entire property, the details put into old-world fountains, statues, and décor is breathtaking. We visited during an off-season time so we didn’t get to experience the restaurant, bar, and lounge, but we walked through it, and the ambiance gave us the impression this would be worth a re-visit and a better time. All the staff we talked to were friendly, and very pleasant folks. Rebecka, the Owner was a pure pleasure to speak with and showed a love for her creation here, not just a typical Hotel manager. If I had to sum up Trios Estates in one word, it would be peaceful. A place to escape and enjoy an old-world Texas village.

The site was very aged, the breakfast was nice. Our room had lots crickets inside and out. To check in the young lady was very sweet and helpful.

Worn out property!

This is a truly relaxing and magical place to visit and stay at. The owner and her staff are amazing, kind, and hospitable people. I can't think of a better place to recommend. The breakfast food and dinner food is quality and made love. We also met an amazing group of people who were staying there as well the same weekend! Will be returning!

Trois Estate is a beautiful property with breathtaking views from the sky deck of Enchanted Rock and the countryside. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary and stayed 4 nights. The Staff is incredible. Keith welcomed us as we arrived and gave us a tour of the facilities. The grounds look like an Old World village with beautiful courtyards and amazing architecture. We stayed in the Bridal suite and it was extremely comfortable with rustic charm. Friday night there is a star gazing party on the upper deck hosted by Eddie and it was spectacular. Friday and Saturday (only) dinner buffet was delicious and every morning Roberto cooked breakfast. Weekend evenings the Saloon is open for drinks and live music. Victoria was fun and made great drinks and Keith played guitar and sang, with friends. it was incredible. What a great place to escape and relax. We will be going back as soon as possible.

The staff was superb and very nice! The hotel had a nostalgic charm, but it felt like it hadn't been maintained or updated in quite some time. While it must have been beautiful in its prime, there were noticeable signs of neglect that made the experience feel less than ideal. Our bridal suite was dark but beautiful and bed was very soft. Some led candles would have made it more romantic and not so spooky. Yes I will return in hopes of some renovations and better upkeep of the estate because it is so beautiful. I want to return with my family..

A great place to get away & relax. The scenery is like in the movies. The structures are very unique. Staff very friendly & helpful. We had a small issue with T.V.but Brenda, Keith & hubby fixed it. It is nice to get away & be in the moment. It was our 25th wedding anniversary. We had fun cruising into Fredericksburg on the fun widing road. It rained on & off the two days we were there but still enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the decorations/ collectibles. Breakfast was good. Keith was very nice & friendly & told us about the Estate. Gave us a tour. Loved the chapel & grotto. We will be back & recommend to friends.

We very much enjoyed the unique atmosphere, peace and quiet, and beautiful county villa vibe. We enjoyed walking around the grounds. Thank you for the wonderful rest, hill country view, and hospitality last week. I was just a quick drive into Llano or Fredericksburg if need be.

Quiet and peaceful! Rustic Spanish architecture felt like we were in Mexico in a hidden town. Only complain was the AC not cooling enough.
