Beautiful historic home, nicely restored. Terrific hospitality.

Shane is a very good host and made me feel welcome. This is an historic B&B with a thoughtful set and comfortable accommodations. It’s nice to be able to have access to the beautiful outdoor areas.

Arrived around 830 and was greeted by Shane. Wonderful host who offered help with our bags and gave us a tour of the house. Historical property with a beautiful farmers porch. Loved the working player piano in the hallway. Solid sleep in a nice neighborhood that is on the fringe of the Allegheny College campus. Wish we had arrived earlier to enjoy this place a little more.

Shane was very welcoming, he made sure I had everything I needed. Very immaculate bathrooms and rooms are very historic as is the estate but also modern and aesthetic

This place is a little gem. The owners did a wonderful job restoring this 170 year old house and the attention to detail is unparalleled. There's a couple serving breakfast in the morning and they were so nice asking what we wanted and cooking it and bringing it to the table. I'll definitely recommend to all our friends.

Wonderful stay, we were greeted by Jim who showed us around the house and since we were the only ones there at the time we were also free to look around the place. The inside was nicely done all around. Lots of updated features but still has that old style charm. Nice quiet area, our room was pretty nice, we had the President's room and it was decorated well. The bed was good with the memory foam so had a good night's sleep.We woke up and went down stairs where Ada was cooking breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, toast and a few other things .we got to meet a few of the other guest and had great conversations with them as well as our host Jim and Ada, they were awesome and very friendly. Shane the host was going out of town but he did reach out to me via text, so we didn't get to meet him but we were in good hands with Jim and Ada! It was a very pleasant stay and we look forward to coming back! Thank you!

It was perfect. A beautiful B&B home. It is decorated to perfection. Very clean - perfect decor - amazing property - tranquility- and quietness. It is close to town and many places to dine and shop. We highly recommend the Highland Bed and Breakfast We will return

Quaint and picturesque, the Highland Bed and Breakfast feels like being home again after a long time away. It is quiet and spacious. Although lacking in central air conditioning, the portable units and fans provide enough ventilation to cool down after a long day on the road. We also opted for the gift option on the paperwork and were quite pleased at the little gift bag received upon arrival. We will definitely consider returning if we happen upon Meadeville, PA again.
