The Dogwood Inn

We loved everything about this Inn, nice adult establishment in nature. Welcomed with smiles and prescecco, a tour of their home and great conversations! We didn't want to leave!

Excellent, highly recommended

We were looking for a place to “get away from it all” and this was spectacular! Rolling hills, comfortable rooms and the best staff you’ll ever find. The breakfast was the best home-cooked delight in all of our travels.

After a planned trip to see family got canceled, my husband and I decided to still treat ourselves to a night away from home. After searching for lodging in the Blue Ridge area, I discovered the Dogwood Inn. What an absolutely fantastic stay we had! The property was less than 5 miles from downtown Blue Ridge, but felt like it was a world away from everything...and I mean that in a good way! Each suite is named and ours, The 3 Bears, offered a comfortable bed that wasn't too firm and wasn't too soft. Much like Goldilocks, we found it to be just right! The space was decorated beautifully and looked like our own personal cabin! There were personal touches (like having chilled water in the room when we arrived) that just added to the welcoming feel. The room offered a huge soaking tub and a spacious shower that elevated the relaxation factor to next level! The views from the sitting area behind our room were just amazing, too! Our hosts, Jim and Cyndie, were wonderful! Jim personally showed us around when we arrived and took the time to tell us about the property. At breakfast the next morning, we were served with fresh coffee, juice, and a gourmet breakfast that would impress even the toughest of chefs! Our breakfast was prepared personally by Jim and Cyndie and was so delicious!! As we enjoyed our breakfast on the back porch, we were fortunate enough to see close to 2 dozen cows from the neighboring property along with several horses and birds.The Dogwood Inn was the most wonderful getaway that we've ever had and are already planning to go again! Thank you Jim and Cyndie for giving us such a memorable experience!

What an extraordinary stay! I’m so grateful I found The Dogwood Inn for our anniversary getaway! Jim & Cyndie were incredible hosts of their lovely bed and breakfast. I’ll be dreaming about the breathtaking views and beautiful and delicious breakfasts on the porch. I cannot wait until our next stay as we will for sure be back!
