The Wedding Cake House

Location

Cockroaches in the dining room, small uncomfortable bed in a large room, storm windows that bang against the building frame all night long in the wind. Shower is crazy motif w rain head only. Not good for the ladies that don’t want to get their hair wet. We left after one night instead of two. We were told the Manger would call, but never did. I wouldn’t stay here again if they Paid me, let alone paying them!

Location, cleanliness, staff

I understand its created by artists but still felt some of decor, furniture and linens could be a bit more charming and comfortable. With that being said i still love the idea of the BnB and would visit again

Cole was wonderful and helpful. She helped make our stay great.

Bed a bit soft and sitting area attached to our room could use a couch and coffee table.

The rooms and building were so beautiful and the setup very charming, the extra sitting area and garden outside were very relaxing. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, and the different serving options for breakfast and cozy dining area are a really nice touch. Staying here is a dream, I couldn't recommend it more.

The water temperature in the shower was hard to get right, either too hot or cool, and there was no hot water my last night and morning. Staff was very concerned and responsive to the issue though and even updated me of it being worked on.

Very convinient location with walking distance to downtown.Close to the restaurants. Unique house atmosphere with artistic touch. Very pleasant and caring staff.Great communication with the hotel representative.Definitely to return to this place in the future.
