Royal Great Pyramid INN

Amazing location, just opposite of the museum although if you ask how to arrive there they will say it's impossible to get there walking but you should take their transfer for 10$ each way! Very Egyptian style! Just walk over the road, although it's a multilane road, in Cairo its normal to do it! Although hopefully soon should the metro station be open, and then it will be possible to get on the other side through the metro station!!!!

It's a nice place to stay for a night, but around there isn't much except for museum!!! So for everything else you will need a taxi...

Hotel funcional si lo que quieres es visitar el Gran Museo Egipcio y las pirámides de Giza. Pese a la cercanía con el museo, para llegar hasta el mismo es necesario Uber, ya que por el momento cruzar a pie es complicado. La terraza del hotel y el personal de la misma son muy agradables. La habitación estaba limpia.

El hotel en si por fuera no es muy atractivo, pero cumple su función. En general todas las reseñas que leí eran ciertas, baños pequeños, la ducha perdiendo agua al usarla, aunque la presión y temperatura eran buenas. Las ventanas no terminan de cerrar y aislar bien, por lo que se oye el ruido de los coches de la autopista. El desayuno no tenía demasiada variedad teniendo en cuenta las expectativas europeas. El personal de recepción que nos atendió no fue demasiado agradable.

J’ai beaucoup aimé la localisation : vue directe sur Les pyramides et sur le GEM. Magnifique ! Le restaurant sur le roof top est très très bon! Sushi/Maki au top. Mais le restaurant est assez cher. L’hôtel est tout neuf. La déco est sympa et les chambres confortables.

Le seul bémol c’est le bruit de l’autoroute au pied de l’immeuble. La nuit on entend beaucoup les voitures, ça gêne...

Very comfy bed, good to have a fridge in the room, plenty of tea/ coffee/ water provided. Great views. Lovely food in the rooftop restaurant. Very helpful staff. Good WiFi connection. Very good breakfast selection. Feels very safe and secure. Great location for GEM and the pyramids.

The bathroom is small and I kept catching my foot on the shower threshold.

Kameralny, wygodny i czysty hotel. Personel przemiły. Pan Shariff z Security był niezwykle przyjazny i uczynny. Dużą zaletą jest restauracja z tarasem czynnym 24h.

Food was excellent and restaurant staff could not have been more friendly. The restaurant is on the roof, 6th floor and lets you enjoy dinner while seeing the Giza pyramids and seeing the GEM (Grand Egyptian Museum). The room was perfect for our days in the city, everything you could need. The hotel booked a taxi from the airport that collected us and took us with no stress to the hotel which took a lot of stress out of what can be stressful experience if you haven’t experienced the Cairo way of haggling for taxis.

Nothing, but I would recommend using Uber. For 30-45 minute journeys being 375EGP roughly. Hotel did try and get us a car for the Kal El Kahlil market for 2 hours for $50!

Sehr schön gelegen genau gegenüber des GEM. Personal freundlich.

Kein direkter Weg zum GEM möglich, nur mit Taxi. Wenn im Hotel etwas gebucht wird, werden mindestens 300% aufgeschlagen. Taxi von den Pyramiden kostet 100 EGP (ca. 1,66 EUR) bei Buchung im Hotel 20 EUR. Hotel steht total allein. Ich rate jedem geht auf die Straße es kommt jede Minute ein Taxi vorbei und kauft eure Tickets direkt vor Ort. Hotel ist alkoholfrei, auch dies sollte erwähnt werden

De douche lekte waardoor er telkens een plas water stond, in het stuk van de badkamer waar geen water hoort te staan. Restaurant heel veel keuze maar niet echt lekker eten. Ontbijt wel goed en in orde

Het hotel is niet te vertrouwen. Mijn boekingsgevens lagen op straat. Ik kreeg via WhatsApp een pishing app. Dankzij de hulp van Booking.com had ik geen schade. Het hotel ligt aan de overkant van het GEM, tussen hotel en GEM loopt een drukke snelweg. Het hotel heeft geen geluidsisolatie. Ik heb 20 dollar aan de receptie moeten betalen voor een taxi naar het GEM (retour). Een 6 minuten ritje. Voor het taxi naar het vliegveld geboekt via booking.com heb ik ca. 17 euro betaald, een rit van ca 45 minuten. Er hangt een sfeer van intimidatie rond de receptie.
