Shankara Accomodation Ubud

El personal, super atentos y amables. El arroz que cocinan ahí, exquisito.

Het was een prima kamer met mooi uitzicht. Je hebt het gevoel dat je in een tropisch regenwoud bent. Schoon en prima bed. Je kunt er in de ochtend Yoga doen, je kunt er altijd schoon drinkwater tappen. Er heerst een rustige, relaxte sfeer. De mensen die er werken zijn erg vriendelijk.

Ik vond het best onhandig om daar te komen. Een best lang, hobbelig pad en als het regent moet je langs nogal wat plassen. Het pad begint aan een ontzettend drukke straat middenin de stad en er is eerst een stijle opgang naar dat pad dat leidt naar de accomodatie.

So peace and quiet live in it,a lot of plants in the yard.

It is in the hillside not easy to find,the toilet is not clean.

I have absolutely no idea why this place has any good reviews other than for being cheap. It was an all around horrible experience and the staff couldn’t have cared less about it. My room was very dirty and full of insects since it isn’t even closed. The “windows”are holes completely open to the outside! So anything can get in. I spent the night totally under my duvet hearing the buzzing of insects around me and woke up with a cockroach in my bed. To top it all off there was this very loud scratching from the ceiling in the room which sounded just like rats. When I told the guy about it he just shrugged and said there’s a cat that lives up there like it was totally fine. They told me there were no other rooms I could stay in but I only saw one other guest while I was there. The bathroom smells horrible and WiFi doesn’t work. It’s not that quiet since there’s loads of building work going on around the sides. You also have to access it from a very sketchy single alleyway where everyone throws their trash and there’s only one sign later on to show you where to go. I did not feel safe there alone. This place is cheap because it’s awful - don’t make my mistake and go elsewhere!

Absolute serene location, totally tucked away in nature, super quiet and quite nice facilities. Also a Yoga Shala is included! The staff were super friendly, from early check-in to walking me through the rain with the umbrella to my driver in the main street.

Unfortunately because of the outline of the facilities it seems hard to fight the mold. It wasn‘t too bad, not strong smell but you could see the walls.

Der beste Ort in Ubud - absolut ruhig gelegen, gleichzeitig ist alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Liebe, freundliche Menschen, alles sehr sauber und perfekt um zu entspannen. Außerdem ein sehr bequemes Bett. Danke

Lieu magnifique et très bien situé , à deux pas du centre ville et des rizières tout en étant excentre et donc très au calme ! Le personnel est adorable et serviable et souriant ! Les services de pressing notamment sont vraiment appréciables ! Parapluie propose dès que la pluie s’invite , venue d’une masseuse extraordinaire directement en chambre pour un prix dérisoire, ne pas hésiter à demander quelque soit le besoin, le personnel saura répondre à toutes vos attentes ! Le lieu est entouré de verdure et est tellement apaisant ! Je suis restée 5 nuits finalement tellement l’ambiance d’Ubud et de ce lieu m’ont plue ! Je le recommande vraiment et n’hésiterai pas à y séjourner de nouveau lors de mon prochain passage ❤️
